The Bund is a street with a huge histroical Western influence lies on the edge of the Huangpu river and looks across to the new business district of Shanghai. A boat trip down the Huangou will reveal just how commercial the city has become as you can see huge pieces of Western and Japanese adverting attached to many of the high rise buidings. |

Below are some pictures of the "Oriental Pearl" TV tower, possibly one of Shanghai's most famous modern landmarks. The tower is located in the new business district of Shanghai but it is expensive to go up to the viewing platform! A better idea is to view the skyline from another of the many skyscrapers. |
