The weather was fantastic the entire day spent on the wall. You could hardly believe that it was October. The topography of the the land on the part of the wall we walked on was surprisingly hilly and by the end of the day it was a relief not to have to climb up and down any more steps! There were parts however where we could not walk upon the wall due to subsidence. (see bottom right) |
