Travelling on the trains were certainly an experience. The trains are very efficient, clean and surprisingly comfortable. The whole train "experience" was highlighted from the pre-train shopping trips. Pot noodle was almost always top of the shopping list. The pot noodles always either came with "Squeezy Sausage" or the infamous BLACK EGG! The other essentials were beer (but it was always available on the train for 5 Yuan), instant coffee, chocolate, cakes, savoury biscuits and weird chinese snacks. Then there were the games of cards and the singing! Finally, there was the time that Ollie bled all over the floor and some Chinese guy's sheets!! |
